The wood carved
snowy owl is a true-faith representation of the bird of prey of the owl family.
With its round head, yellow eyes, white feathers and feathered feet, this
wooden figure is a perfect execution of the wood carver of the Val Gardena
tradition. The snowy owl is available in the variants natural, stained 3 colors
and color, as well as in many different sizes.
The snow owl differs from the other owls mainly because of its white plumage
and the closely feathered feet and toes that depend on their habitat. The snow
owl is mainly found in Nordic countries such as Iceland,
Northern Europe, Siberia, Alaska,
Canada and Greenland.
Their body length can reach up to 65 cm, the wingspan up to 160 cm and the
weight about 2.5 kg.
